Nicholas Campion is a British astrologer and historian of astrology and cultural astronomy. He is the author of a number of books including Mundane Astrology (with Michael Baigent and Charles Harvey), The Book of World Horoscopes and The Great Year. He currently pursues an academic career.

  • Does it matter if we have accurate data? It does if we want to demonstrate objective links between political events and observed celestial patterns. Yet much mundane data is inaccurate and we have no choice but to work with it. How do we assess if data is accurate, what do we do if we have no accurate data, and is there such a thing as a birth chart for a country? Chart examples are used to clarify some of the issues which must be considered prior to computer research.
