  • The human capacity for art and for measuring time by quantity and quality may be the two things that distinguish us from other species. Much of our earliest art, from the caves of Lascaux, and the architecture of Mesopotamia, through the statues of classical Greece and Rome, renaissance paintings, and into the modern era reflect the human exploration of astrology. We can also get a glimpse of astrology as an indicator of changing fashions in art, and how artistic themes can serve, like the Tarot, as packages of astrological imagery.

The talk concludes with an exploration of Astrological trends in the field of cinema. (The influence of Neptune through the Signs.)
