  • Innovator, weirdo, inventor, crank, Uranus burst forth in 1791 and has been throwing us for loops ever since. Jack looks at Uranus from many angles -- in mythology, history, astronomy, and both mundane and personal astrology, with a special look at the precedents and expectations for Uranus in Pisces.

In honor of Uranus' ingress into Pisces on 3/10/03, Jack presented a wonderfully informative and lively talk on Uranus. He covered the correlation of Uranus with homosexuality (a term coined in 1862 with Uranus in Gemini). Additionally, he went into the historical timeline of Uranus's relationship to scientific investigations and social revolutions.
